The solution to closing the gun show loophole is simply voting. Politicians make the key decisions on whether bills gets passed. In 2009 a bill was proposed for this issue. It was titled H.R. 2324 the Gun Show Loophole Closing Act 2009. H.R. 2324 would of required background checks on all firearms transactions occurring at gun shows all over. Politicians voted it down and this bill never saw the light of day. Voting is key to the gun show loophole’s end because it ultimately needs to be changed on a federal level.
